Oooh Look - Book Trailers!

I am not really the biggest fan of book trailers, but a few have caught my eye recently. I have my own opinions about which ones are good or not but I will keep those thoughts to myself. I wanted to show them though because they are all for books I am really excited about. Prodigy actually just came out this week, so you don't even have to wait for that one. I think my favorite is the trailer for Etiquette & Espionage though. I am a sucker for the English accent. :)

Take a look below and let us know in the comments which book you're most excited about. And warning, most of these are sequels so they may contains spoilers. Watch at your own risk.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

Prodigy by Marie Lu

Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead teaser trailer (kissy face!)

Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger

Mind Games by Kiersten White

  1. I'm very excited about Scarlet and Prodigy, but if I had only the book trailers to go by I don't think I'd want to read them! The Mind Games trailer is pretty good--sounds like it will be a much darker book than Paranormalcy, but she did warn us it would be. I hadn't heard of Gail Carriger's new book: I'm enjoying her Soulless series right now, actually, and Etiquette and Espionage sounds like a lot of fun. It gets my vote as the best trailer. (Note to publicists: don't use actors in book trailers!)

I personally don't get the point of book trailers. Books aren't movies. We read books. We can read book blurbs.

  2. i agree. don't use actors. it's usually a bad idea. and i love the soulless series! if you like soulless i def think you will like e&e.
